Age Cutoff for USSSA Baseball
The USSSA Baseball National Committee met in 06' and
discussed the numerous communications with coaches, parents,
league directors and tournament directors regarding the proposed
age cutoff change by USA Baseball.
After serious consideration USSSA Baseball has made May 1 the
cutoff date. This means whatever age a player is on April 30,
2008, will be their age for the 2008 season. USSSA allows all
players to play "up" in a higher age bracket.
It is the belief of USSSA Baseball that these changes will
enhance the opportunities for all players to play the game of
baseball in a fun and exciting atmosphere.
USSSA encourages all national organizations to follow our lead.
Age Cutoff for PC REC Softball
December 31st, 2007 will be the cutoff date for the 2008 fastpitch season. This means whatever age a player was on
December 31st, 2007, will be their age for the 2008 season.
Age Cutoff for PC REC T-ball & Coach Pitch
TBALL AGES 4,5,& 6 YR. OLDS, MUST BE 4 BY AUG 31ST,
2008
CP AGES 7 & 8 YR OLDS, MUST BE 7 BY AUG 31ST, 2008

AGE GROUPS (BASED UPON AGE AS OF AUGUST 1ST, 2008):
U6: 4 AND 5 YEAR OLD’S ON CO-REC TEAMS
U8: 6 AND 7 YEAR OLD’S ON CO-REC TEAMS
U10: 8 AND 9 YEAR OLD’S ON SEPARATE TEAMS
U12: 10 AND 11 YEAR OLD’S ON SEPARATE TEAMS
U14: 12 AND 13 YEAR OLD’S ON SEPARATE TE
U16: 14 AND 15 YEAR OLD’S ON SEPARATE TEAMS
U19: 16, 17, & 18 YEAR OLD’S ON SEPARATE TEAMS

Boys ages 8 – 13 by January 1st, 2008
