We're getting a face lift ....  The web site I mean. 

Since the web site was setup several years ago we have not made any significant updates or changes.  We decided it was time to look for some of the new technologies available and incorporate them into our site.  We now have a new method to manage schedules and events.  We have a blog you can subscribe to (RSS Feed) which will keep you up-to-date on current events here at the park.  We also have an improved method of displaying pictures so it is easier for us to upload and display pictures for events in and around the park.  All-in-all we will find it easier and quicker to update the site with new information and manage the presentation.  We hope you will provide us with feedback to help continue the improvements. 

Programs:  There's something for everyone in the recreation programs we offer. We have year round recreation activities for the youth of this parish.

     Organized youth leagues consist of: Baseball, Softball, T-Ball, Coaches Pitch, Football, Cheerleading, Soccer, & Basketball.

     PC Rec has hosted many parish and league tournaments at False River Park. Over the years with enthused sponsorship from area business and community leaders. Adults enjoy our walking trail that is located behind the Civic Center and also the Tennis & Basketball court facilities.

 Facilities:  The park system consists of district, town, and neighborhood sites located throughout Pointe Coupee Parish.  Some sites offer pavilions, barbecue pits, and picnic tables to accommodate family outings and parties.  Playground equipment, tennis and basketball courts are special features at many park locations. PC Rec has some of the finest recreation facilities in Pointe Coupee.  With future park improvements planned, the recreation staff is actively progressing to meet the needs of Pointe Coupee.

William H. Scott Memorial Civic Center:  The civic center hosts many plays, weddings, social events, concerts, Mardi Gras Balls, and the home of many business annual meetings & suppers.  Check on this site to see if the center will be available or to schedule your event.  You are also welcome to call or come in and see us.
